We carry R+Co backbar and retail products. Stylists are eligible for 10% commission on all retail product sales.

Transitioning to an independent hairstylist be confusing and intimidating at first, trust us— we’ve been there. We are here to help guide you through the process to make it as seamless for you and your clients.

Here are some requirements and responsibilities you take on as an independent stylist:

- Current and valid NYS cosmetology/ barber license
- Area Renters License
- Liability Insurance
- Paying your own income taxes and self employment taxes.
- Tools, equipment and products that aren’t otherwise included with the salon amenities.
- Handling and maintaining your client base.
